Crisis Camp is a series of bar-camp style events looking at humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. It is a part of the Crisis Commons movement.

Un CrisisCamp aura lieu à Montréal ce samedi 30 janvier, 3pm pour venir en aide à la population haïtienne touchée par le séisme (voir aussi ce lien, ainsi que ce groupe Facebook).
Les CrisisCamps sont des rencontres informelles (sur le mode du BarCamp) qui ont pour but de réunir des volontaires, particulièrement des représentants du domaine des technologies de l’information, afin de contribuer aux efforts humanitaires par le biais de divers projets liés au partage de l’information ou aux technologies.

Announcement:
I am happy to report that the new date for Crisis Camp Montreal’s 1st meeting will be on Jan 30, at 3pm.We felt that this would be a more logical choice as we need as many people as possilbe to show up. I am sorry if this has caused any inconvenience.
Please note than we are still looking for a venue. I will update when I have news.
